Job Description

Cytonn Investments is an alternative investment manager, with a captive real estate development capability. Cytonn has a unique strategy of coupling two compelling demand areas - the lack of high yielding investment products and the lack of institutional grade real estate. We distribute high yielding instruments to attract funding from investors, and we deploy that funding to investment grade, well planned and comprehensive real estate developments that are largely pre-sold.


Responsibilities:

    1. Preparing and executing payments
    2. Keeping records and filing of transactions and relevant documentation
    3. Assisting in daily, weekly and monthly treasury operations and track key treasury operational benchmarks
    4. Ensuring compliance with taxation and any other financial statutory requirements including filing and payment of ,Catering levy,VAT and WHT among others
    5. Assisting with accurate and timely posting of documents of original entry into the accounting system
    6. Preparing and maintaining all the books of accounts. This includes assisting with month end closing processes and general journal entries
    7. Assisting internal and external auditors by providing financial information as may be required
    8. Preparing internal and external hospitality reports
    9. Performing regular review of financial data recorded in the system
    10. Performing various reconciliations including bank, related party, supplier and customer reconciliations
    11. Following up on receivables and sharing daily receivables report
    12. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements:

    1. A Bachelors Degree in Finance/Accounting or business related course with a minimum of second class honors, upper division
    2. A minimum of B+ in KCSE
    3. Professional qualification in accounting field or actively pursuing such qualifications
    4. Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office Packages
    5. Excellent data analytical skills
    6. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with great precision and accuracy
    7. Organization, attention to details and follow-through
    8. Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion
    9. Strong verbal and written communication skills
    10. High levels of integrity and accountability
    11. Covid-19 vaccination certificate
