Job Description

The purpose of this job is to assist in providing legal advisory services to the Authority thereby creating a conducive legal environment for execution of the Authority's mandate as stipulated in the Kenya Roads


Responsibilities:

    Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail:

    • eviewing and retrieving files for relevant action;

    • Opening legal files;

    • Photocopying file documents; .and

    • Filing contract and court documents.

    • Reviewing and retrieving files for relevant action;

    • Opening legal files;

    • Filing contract and court documents;

    • Responding to inquiries regarding specific cases;

    • Facilitating payment of legal fees;

    • Serving legal documents to clients and other stakeholders;

    • Collaborating with the Senior Legal Assistant, monitoring all security documentation — Term and Expiry; and

    • Obtaining the Kenya Gazette weekly and perusing, preparing and submitting reports on any matter touching on the Authority;

Requirements:

    • Diploma in Paralegal studies or Administration (with bias in legal matters) from a recognized institution;

    • A current Process Server Certificate or its equivalent qualifications;

    • Proficiency in computer applications and

    • Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
