Job Description

To improve the Sacco's market position, achieve financial growth, implement long-term organizational strategic; negotiation, close of business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions.


Responsibilities:

    • Developing and implementing marketing initiatives in order to attract potential customers and retain existing ones.
    • Conduct market research on new products and services.
    • To monitor member satisfaction and ensure that customer’s needs are addressed.
    • Executing marketing and branding strategies.
    • Develop implement marketing and communication strategies.
    • Execute and integrate online and offline marketing initiatives.
    • Preparation of annual marketing plans and forecasts for the Sacco;
    • Conduct market research in order to develop insights for product development, brand positioning and brand equity growth;
    • Carry out market intelligence and surveys for growth in membership and products uptake;
    • Implement marketing, advertising and promotional tasks and activities in the society;
    • Provide delightful customer experience to both external and internal customers.
    • Ensuring availability of the Marketing promotional materials.
    • Supervising the Sales and Marketing team and giving performance report to the supervisor.
    • Selling and cross-selling of Sacco products
    • Any other lawful duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

    Education

    • A holder of Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Marketing, bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing, public relations or its equivalent from a recognized university
    • A member of a professional Board (MSK) is an added advantage
    • Has satisfactorily served in a similar position.
    • Certificate in proficiency (COP) – Insurance is an added advantage
