Job Description
The role of a process engineering fellow involves designing and optimizing processes and equipment to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. The process design fellow is responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and developing innovative solutions to enhance overall performance. An engineering problem within the factory will be defined for the process engineering fellow to solve through the project management framework. The process design fellow applies their creativity and principles of process engineering design to convert concepts into tangible and impactful solutions.
Their key responsibilities typically include: Process Analysis, Problem-Solving, Process Design, Process Optimization, Data Analysis, Continuous Improvement, Compliance and Safety, Documentation, Vendor Management, and Training.

Qualifications
- An Engineering degree in either Process/Chemical/Civil or Mechanical.
- Good understanding of chemical engineering concepts specifically fluid dynamics and heat transfer models.
- Experience developing or contributing to control philosophies and operating guidelines.
- Experience developing or contributing to the sizing of processing equipment such as pumps, blowers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and control valves.
- Detail-oriented with demonstrated capability to analyze processing systems efficiently and rapidly.
- Ability to look beyond the most obvious solution to provide engineering designs that are safe, practical, reliable, and cost effective.
- A learning mindset and interest in taking on board constructive feedback from senior engineer’s order to develop their process engineering expertise while delivering solutions that meet design requirements and stakeholder expectations.
- A proactive attitude, with a willingness to get involved and learn by doing.
- Ability to communicate clearly in both verbal and written form.
